The Lagos State police commissioner, Fatai Owoseni, has stated that suicide attempt or committing suicide is an offence punishable under the law. Owoseni said this yesterday in his office while counseling a Lagos textile dealer, Mrs. Taiwo Momoh(both pictured), who was saved from jumping off Third Mainland Bridge to her death on Friday.
