There is an unravelling plot within a plot at the Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation. According to societynow Workers of the Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation are up to usual tricks. They have started usual protests. And the target is Folorunsho Coker, the new Director-General of the tourism agency friends call "folly". More Troubles For Suspended SEC DG, Mounir Gwarzo As EFCC Investigates Commission’s Activities

Director-General, Securities and Exchange Commission, Mr. Mounir Gwarzo The suspended director-general of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Mounir Gwarzo, is facing at least two enquiries over his role as helmsman of the commission since 2015. Apart from the administrative enquiry ordered by the Minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun, Gwarzo is also being investigated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. EFCC wants to unravel the owners of the nine companies that were awarded contracts by the SEC under Gwarzo. They include Outbound Investment Limited, Medusa Investments Limited, Northwind Environmental Services, Micro-Technologies Limited, Tida International Limited, Outlook Communications, Acromac Nigeria Limited, Balfort International Investment Limited and Interactiven Worldwide Nigeria Limited. Gov Jubrilla Bindow In Private Meeting With Buhari, Rules Out Abandoning Ruling Party

Adamawa State Governor, Jubrilla Bindow, on Tuesday met behind closed doors with President Muhammadu Buhari. The meeting which was held inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja, barely four days after former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar resigned his membership of the ruling All Progressives Congress. Atiku’s exit fuelled speculations that Bindow who is his state governor may also dump the party. But the governor told State House correspondents after the meeting that he has no plan to leave with Atiku. Husband Killer With "6month Old Baby" Maryam Sanda Remanded In Prison

A federal capital territory ( FCT ) high court has ordered that Maryam Sanda be remanded in Suleja prison for allegedly murdering Bilyamin Bello, her husband. The FCT police command arraigned her before Yusuf Halilu, a judge, on Friday. Maryam, who wept profusely in the court, covered her face with a veil to prevent journalists from taking pictures. The police had initially said it would be difficult to detain her because she has a six-month-old baby. Sanda reportedly stabbed the victim to death based on the suspicion that he was cheating on her. Mohammed was the son of Haliru Bello, a former national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). In the charge sheet seen by TheCable, Sanda was accused of committing an offence punishable by death. She pleaded not guilty to the charges. These are not the best of times for Mr. Victor Gbolade Osibodu, owner of the multi-billion Vigeo Holdings and husband of Funke Osibodu, one-time Managing Director of Ecobank and Union Bank, as a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos, South West, Nigeria, on Wednesday November 22, 2017 issued an order restraining the businessman, and his company, Vigeo Limited from making any withdrawal from its account and those of his agents domiciled with 17 commercial banks in Nigeria. The order of the court was sequel to an affidavit deposed to by a business manager of Ecobank Nigeria Limited, Mr. Segun Akinsanya and filed before the court by a law firm, Simmons Cooper Partners. The court issued the orders, over an alleged indebtedness of the defendants in the sum of about N8.7Billion. In a statement released today Friday November 24, 2017 the Waziri of Adamawa detailed how he was talked into joining APC when his party then (PDP) became factionalized.
